During March 2025, Peruvian passion fruit exports totaled 2,189 tons valued at $6.91 million, representing a 43% increase in volume and a 31% increase in value compared to the same month last year. The average price was $3.16 per kilogram, 8% lower than that recorded in March 2024, according to FreshFruit data. Shipments to the Netherlands, the main destination for Peruvian passion fruit in March 2025, drove the growth in overall prices for this period. Of the 19 markets served, the Netherlands accounted for a 50% share, with 996 tons valued at $3.47 million, and an average price of $3.48 per kilogram. Compared to 2024, volume increased by 29%, value by 35%, and average cost by 5%. The United States was the second destination with a 15% share. 320 tons were exported for $1.03 million, with an average price of $3.23 per kilogram.
