Peach harvest begins in Adana. The product hit by agricultural frost found buyers in the orchard at 50 TL. In the Çukurova region, which includes important agricultural areas of Turkey such as Adana, Mersin, Hatay, and Osmaniye, harvest has begun for peaches, one of the stone fruits experiencing serious yield loss due to agricultural frost. In the 35-decare garden in Kozan district of Adana, it was noted that yield loss reached 90 percent. From the garden where 100 tons of product were expected, approximately 10 tons were harvested. It was stated that the harvested peaches found buyers at 50 TL per kilogram. Agricultural Engineer Barış Kurtaran said he experienced significant yield loss due to the climate disaster on his 35-decare land.
