Peanut harvest festival in Şırnak, Turkiye

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Ahmet Bağcı and Şırnak Governor Birol Ekici joined the peanut harvest by riding tractors in Silopi district. A peanut harvest festival was organized in a field in Botaş, Silopi district of Şırnak, which ranks 3rd in peanut production in Turkey. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Dr. Ahmet Bağcı stated that they provided support as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for Şırnak to progress even further in peanut production and said that they were very pleased that Şırnak was ranked 3rd in Turkey in the peanut production adventure that started in 2006.
