Australia's northern cropping industry is introducing high value crops such as new non-shattering varieties of sesame and a new peanut variety. The Northern Australia Crop Research Centre of Excellence, which is conducting several large-scale research projects, is organizing a field day on April 18 to showcase this diversification. The event, hosted by CQUniversity, will feature research into grain and graze management systems, and presentations on mung and adzuki beans.
