(Agraria.pe) This year, Peru's peas (also known as peas) are arriving in Europe earlier thanks to a network of producers that emphasizes sustainable production. Arrivals began by sea in April and will continue during the traditional peak of September until the end of the year. FairFruit, under the umbrella of the company Durabilis, has expanded its presence to twelve producing regions in Peru, after years of testing and development. The company works with local producers who use regenerative agricultural practices and has expanded its season with 30% more volume of early product supplied to Europe compared to previous years. "We are achieving a product of maximum quality in the different climatic zones of Peru, always guaranteeing a satisfactory arrival and mitigating climate risks, such as El Niño," declares Evert Wulfrank, CEO of Durabilis.
