The People's Committee of A Lu commune in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai, is promoting the planting of fried bamboo trees as part of a national target program. The initiative is focused on the high-altitude villages of Ngai Thau Thuong and Ngai Thau Ha, which have the ideal climate and soil conditions for this versatile agricultural plant. The aim is to use the bamboo for shoots and rattan, creating a new income source for the local indigenous population.
