Permanent and strong growth in the price of rice in Bulgaria

In 2020, the price of rice has a sustainable upward trend and reaches a level of BGN 2.41/kg, and in 2021 the curve is stable and hovers around a level of BGN 2.20 - 2.40, according to the annual report of the State Commission for stock exchanges and markets. At the beginning of 2022, the price of rice starts at a level of BGN 2.18/kg. During the first six months, the movement of the curve has a steady upward trend and at the end of June the price is BGN 2.80/kg. After a certain stabilization of the values in the period July - September, in the autumn the curve goes up again and in the last week of November it reaches the level of BGN 2.93/kg. Rice is another commodity whose price will reach an all-time high in 2022.
