Peru continues to strengthen its positioning as a source of high-quality coffee in the Chilean market. The national participation in ExpoCafé Chile 2025, led by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promperú), brought together 10 Peruvian organizations, including cooperatives and companies, and managed to set up important business meetings with roasters, importers, and key players in the sector. The projections generated amount to $1.2 million in business intentions over 12 months, in a context of growing consumption of specialty coffee in Chile. The fair was a stage to present varieties from different producing regions, highlighting their sensory profiles and cultivation conditions, as well as conducting tastings aimed at expanding knowledge about the Peruvian offer and opening the door to new negotiations.
