In the second quarter of 2024, Peruvian blueberry exports experienced a decline, with a 42% decrease in volume and a 25% decrease in value compared to the previous year. Despite a 30% increase in price, the volume of shipments and revenue fell significantly. The majority of the exports, 84%, were fresh blueberries, while 14.7% were frozen. The United States was the primary market for these exports. Exportadora Frutícola del Sur S.A., Camposol S.A., and Aqu Anqa II S.A.C. were the leading exporters of Peruvian blueberries during this period.
