Peru: Cusco will export 50 tons of avocado per week to Central America

With the aim of expanding international markets for avocado producers in the Cusco region of Peru, the Regional Agricultural Management, together with the Palto project and the beneficiaries of Limatambo and Mollepata, reached an important agreement with the California Agro Export company of Costa Rica. This agreement will allow the direct acquisition of 50 tons of Hass avocado per week for the 2025 campaign, marking a significant milestone for the local agricultural sector, reported the Regional Agricultural Management of Cusco. The success of this initiative is the result of a comprehensive approach that has involved the execution of more than 9,000 personalized technical assistance services for producers.
