In 2024, Peru's palm exports saw a decrease, with a total of 173,659 tons valued at $183.7 million, marking a 9% drop in volume and 2% drop in value from the previous year. Despite this, the average price per kilogram rose by 8% to $1.06. The exports were predominantly crude oil (49%), with 40% being refined oil and 11% processed palm oil. DP World was the leading handler of these shipments, accounting for 62% of the logistics. The main destinations for these exports were Colombia, Chile, and Mexico, with Colombia being the largest market, receiving 25.2% of the total shipments.
