Peru exported 1,817 tons of strawberries in February 2024, showing a contraction of -54%

Peru's strawberry exports experienced a significant drop of 54% in February 2024, decreasing to 1,817 tons from 3,925 tons in February 2023. The primary importers were Canada, accounting for 35% of the imports, and the United States, accounting for 34.8%. The top exporters were Interglobo Perú S.A.C., contributing 22% of the exports, and Del Ande Alimentos S.A.C., contributing 16%. A total of 23 companies were involved in the purchasing.
