From January to November of this year, Peru exported 6,281,466 kilos of cocoa husks, generating a FOB value of US$ 17,111,790, as per Agrodata's report. The United States was the primary recipient, with purchases amounting to US$ 2,911,888. Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Indonesia, and Brazil were among the other significant buyers. The report highlighted Machu Picchu Foods SAC as the leading exporter in the period, with sales of US$ 13,819,000, followed by Exportadora Romex SA, Kulkao SA, Amad & Cia SAC, and Organic Rainforest SAC.
