From January to November of this year, Peru emerged as a significant exporter of fresh onions, with total exports reaching 283,217,207 kilos valued at US$ 132,443,627, as per a report by Agrodata. The United States emerged as the primary market, accounting for 58% of the total exports with a value of US$ 77,157,269. The list of importers also included Spain, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Chile, among others. Some of the leading Peruvian companies involved in these exports were Novoliz SA, Agrícola Miranda SAC, Agrilor SAC, Mentor Agro Productos SAC, Bland Farms Perú SAC, and Shuman Produce Perú SAC.
