Peruvian potato exports decreased by 14.7% between January and June 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, with shipments totaling 689.3 tons. The United States market was the largest destination, receiving 30% of the exports, followed by Bolivia with 29.9% and other countries with 39.9%. Frozen potatoes accounted for 35.1% of the exports, snack potatoes for 20.4%, and other by-products for 44%. Snacks America Latina, Doña Isabel Imports and Exports were the top companies making shipments during this period.
