Between January and June of this year, Peru experienced a moderate increase in the export of purple corn, shipping 464,430 kilos for a total value of US$ 1,168,313, up from 364,357 kilos valued at US$ 810,668 in the same period of 2023. The United States was the primary recipient, accounting for 60% of these exports, followed by Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, South Korea, and Chile. Miranda Langa Agroexport emerged as the leading exporter, with sales of US$ 242,000, alongside JM Importadora Exportadora y Servicios SAC, Importadora y Exportadora Doña Isabel, Belmont Foods Perú SAC, Rivera's Peruvian Food SAC, and Integralexport SAC.
