The president of the Agroindustry, Food, and Beverage Committee of the Exporters Association (ADEX), Mario Salazar Vergaray, noted that Peru has the potential to match Egypt and Poland, located in the top three of the 2024 global frozen strawberry exporters ranking. "What we need is to technify cultivation and close the technological and educational gap faced by small producers," he affirmed. According to World's Top Exports, last year Egypt was the global leader in shipments of this product with $392 million, concentrating 27% of the total.
