The Peruvian government has signed a new phytosanitary protocol with New Zealand, enabling the export of fresh citrus fruits from Peru. This agreement, signed between the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) and the Ministry of Primary Industries of New Zealand (MPI), will benefit producers in regions such as Ica, Lima, Piura, La Libertad, Junín, Arequipa, Ancash and Lambayeque. This is part of Peru's strategy to diversify its agricultural markets and maintain its position as a leading global food supplier, with a focus on quality and safety. The country has established similar agreements with several other countries and is actively promoting the growth of its agricultural sector through various initiatives.
