Peru will export more citrus fruits to Brazil, which fruits will be added to the offer?

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) has granted access to oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruit, mandarins and tangelo to the Brazilian market, which has a potential of more than 216 million consumers. This new international market joins the 47 countries to which citrus growers from Ica, Junín, Lima, Piura, La Libertad, Lambayeque and Ancash currently export, with the main destinations being the United States, Europe, Canada, Chile and China. “The access of agricultural products to new international markets is a clear opportunity for the growth and development of Peruvian producers. In this way, Midagri seeks to improve the demand for these products, to the benefit of various citrus producing regions in the country,” said Minister Angel Manero.
