Peru will host official FAO activities for World Pulses Day 2025

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation announced that Peru will host the official activities of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on the occasion of the celebration of World Pulses Day 2025 This important event will take place in February 2025 and will bring together international representatives, experts, producers, researchers and international organizations in order to promote the cultivation, consumption and benefits of pulses globally. FAO established World Pulses Day (February 10) in 2018 with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of these foods for food security, nutrition and the sustainability of agri-food systems.
