Peru will promote regenerative livestock in 6 regions with an investment of $14 million

With funding close to $14 million, the Ministry of the Environment (Minam) will launch the project "Regenerative Livestock to Promote Sustainable Landscapes," in coordination with more than 20,000 cattle, sheep, and camel producers in the regions of Cusco, Puno, Apurímac, Cajamarca, Piura, and Lambayeque. This initiative is part of the national strategies for adaptation and mitigation in the face of climate change.
