From January to October 2021, Peru's agricultural exports saw a 17.7% increase compared to the same period in 2020, reaching a total value of US$6.78 billion, as reported by Comex Peru. The United States was the top destination for these exports, with a growth of 13.2% year-on-year, totaling US$2.221 billion. Other significant markets included the Netherlands, Spain, Chile, and the United Kingdom. Fruits and vegetables were the primary exports, with a value of US$6.244 billion, showing a 19.3% increase, led by avocados, fresh blueberries, and table grapes. Traditional agricultural products such as green coffee beans, sugar, wool, raw sugar, and cotton also experienced a slight increase in exports.
