From January to October 2024, Peru's chocolate exports, which include both conventional and organic chocolates, as well as various flavors and types, reached over $55.34 million, with the United States being the primary market. There has been a notable increase in exports to Canada, which now accounts for 20% of the total. The period also saw a 32% rise in organic chocolate exports, attributed to their ethical sourcing and innovative ingredients, alongside a 59% increase in cup chocolate exports, mainly to the United States. Some of the leading companies in these exports include Machu Picchu Foods, Compañía Nacional de Chocolates de Perú, and Arcor de Perú.
