Peruvian cocoa exports will break records in volume and value by the end of 2023

(Agraria.pe) From January to November 2023, Peru exported 93,588,305 kilos of cocoa (bean, shell, fat, butter, paste, powder) for US$ 311,144,756, reported the president of the consulting firm Inform@cción, Fernando Cilloniz Benavides. He pointed out that in the period analyzed this year, the main destinations to which the largest volume of cocoa was sent were: Asia with 33,031,309 kilos, Europe with 31,975,125 kilos, Latin America with 20,158,841 kilos, North America with 6,234,447 kilos, Africa with 1,430,142 kilos, Oceania with 758,432 kilos. While in value, the main markets were: Europe who purchased this product for US$ 114,542,811, Asia with US$ 96,506,703, Latin America with US$ 61,444,267, North America with US$ 30,765,163, Oceania with US$ 4,007,489, Africa with US$ 3,878,239.
