From January to July of this year, Peru's fruit and vegetable exports reached US$3,051 million, marking a 6% increase from the same period in 2021. Fruit exports, including avocados, grapes, and blueberries, totaled US$2,425 million, while vegetable exports, led by asparagus and paprika, totaled US$625,810,000. The United States was the leading destination for both fruit and vegetable exports. There has also been a rise in the export of frozen fruits, pulps, and vegetables to countries like the United States, Spain, Canada, and Latin America, driven by consumer trends towards safe and nutritious food.
