Peruvian grape exports in 2024 are projected to be roughly on par with 2023's record performance, with a total of $1,792 million, largely due to the unusual climatic effects of the El Niño phenomenon in 2023. This resulted in an early harvest and a high comparison base for 2024. The United States continues to be the primary market for Peruvian grapes, accounting for 46% of exports in November 2024, despite a 19% decrease in average price. The Netherlands and the United Kingdom followed as the second and third largest markets. The leading exporters in these markets have shifted slightly, with Sociedad Agrícola Rapel S.A.C. and Ecosac Agrícola S.A.C. leading in the United States, and El Pedregal S.A. increasing its market share in the United Kingdom.
