(Agraria.pe) Between January and July of 2025, Peruvian exports of green coffee beans reached US$ 483 million, showing an increase of 22% compared to the same period of the previous year, positioning itself as the fourth main product of Peruvian agro-exports, representing 7.5% of the total dispatched by the sector. As indicated by figures from the Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y Administración Tributaria (SUNAT), which detailed that in the first seven months of the current year, shipments of green coffee beans from Peru amounted to 69,318 tons, reflecting a contraction of -32.5%. This result is explained by the international price of the product, which in the analyzed period of 2025 reached an average of US$ 8,361 per ton (+42%), according to the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCR).
