Between January and April of this year, Peru experienced a moderate decrease in potato chip imports, bringing in 7,562,831 kilos worth US $ 6,591,518, a decrease from the same period in 2020 which saw 10,181,622 kilos imported for US $ 8,650,313. The Netherlands was the leading supplier with US $ 4,612,000, followed by Belgium, the United States, France, and Argentina. The main importers in the sector included Alicorp SAA, Axionlong Perú SAC, Delosi SA, Abastecedora Alimenticia SAC, and Oregon Foods.
