In August 2024, Peru's mandarin exports saw a growth, reaching 4,033 tons with a value of US$ 69.71 million, marking a 7% increase in volume and a 15% increase in value compared to the same month in 2023. The United States was the primary importer, accounting for 52.5% of the shipments, followed by the Netherlands and Mexico. The average price per kilogram also rose by 7% to US$ 1.29. The exporting companies Consorcio de Productores de Fruta S.A. and San Miguel Fruits Perú S.A. played a significant role in these exports.
