In October 2024, Peruvian paprika exports saw a decline with a decrease of 6% in volume and 11% in value compared to the same month in the previous year, totaling 3,250 tons and US$ 11.84 million respectively. The average price per kilogram also fell by 5% to US$ 3.64. The exports were made to 11 destinations, with Mexico and the United States being the largest recipients, accounting for 47% and 37% of the total shipments respectively. S&M Foods S.A.C. was the leading exporter, contributing 25% of the total exports, followed by ADB International S.A.C., Agroindustrial E&C S.A.C., Alimentos Procesados Agrícolas S.A.C., and Peruvian Organic Lands S.A.C. The exports were primarily handled by the terminals of DP World and APM Terminals.
