From January to July 2021, Peruvian fruit and vegetable exports saw a 26% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching over $2.8 billion. The U.S. was the primary market for these exports, with the Netherlands and Spain following closely. The main exports included avocados, grapes, mangoes, tangerines, and blueberries. Vegetable exports also rose by 15.1%, with the U.S. as the leading buyer, followed by Spain and the Netherlands. The main vegetable exports were asparagus, artichokes, ginger, onions, and olives.
