(Agraria.pe) Peruvian squash exports reached 13,582.5 tons between January and December 2024. According to market analyst Heber Chávez, these shipments grew by 16.1% compared to the same period last year. A total of 36 exports reached eight markets in 2024, with the macre and sweet potato varieties taking center stage. Regarding markets, this national product reached eight countries, with Chile as the main destination, representing 99.7% of purchases during that period, while Spain and the Netherlands accounted for 0.2%, and the remaining five countries accounted for 0.1%.
