Peruvian quinoa exports reached $142.6 million between January and November 2025, showing a 9% growth compared to the same period in 2024. Although the volume decreased slightly from 52,866 to 51,655 tons, the increase in the average price —from $2.47/kg to $2.76/kg— allowed for the annual growth to be maintained, as reported by Fresh Fruit. White quinoa was the most demanded variety, with $92.8 million, while the tricolor variety accounted for $21.3 million, followed by red quinoa which was $19.1 million. In terms of destinations, the United States consolidated its position as the main market for Peruvian quinoa, with purchases of $59.5 million between January and November 2025 (+1% compared to 2024). Canada reinforced its position as the second destination with $9.9 million (+3%), while Italy and the United Kingdom showed more moderate advances, reaching $8.5 million and $6.8 million respectively.
