Philippines lifts ban on export of beef with bone and offal from Brazil

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) announced on Thursday (14) that the Philippines has released the export of beef with bone and bovine offal. According to Mapa, the governments of Brazil and the Philippines concluded negotiations on the sanitary requirements for export. With over 118 million inhabitants and growing consumption of animal protein, the Philippines are a strategic market for the national agribusiness. In 2024, Brazil exported more than US$ 1.5 billion in agribusiness products to the country, among which stand out meats, cereals, flours, and products from the sugar and alcohol complex.
