Philippines takes first place in Brazilian pork exports in 2024

In terms of revenue, the balance is a record: a total of US$ 313.3 million in October, surpassing by 56.4% the total achieved in the tenth month of last year, with US$ 200.3 million. In the year (January to October), pork exports accumulated an increase of 10.7% in volumes, reaching 1,121 million tons exported in the first ten months of 2024, against 1,013 million tons in the same period of the previous year. Export revenue in 2024 is also positive, with an increase of 5.2%, totaling US$ 2,482 billion between January and October this year, compared to US$ 2,361 billion in the same period last year. In the survey by destination, the Philippines took first place for the first time in Brazilian pork exports in the year to date, with a total of 206 thousand tons exported between January and October 2024, a balance 103.3% higher than in the same period of the previous year.
