In Peru, Piura proposes to promote cotton with the planting of 1,533 hectares

Specialists from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture (DRA) of Piura met with officials from the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) to present the proposal for the financing program to promote the installation of 1,533 hectares of cotton in the region in the current campaign agricultural. According to the DRA Piura, the objective is to promote the cotton economic corridor, strengthening the lines of production, transformation, marketing and positioning of this crop.
