The Competitiveness Compensation Program (Agroideas), together with the Association of Cocoa Producers San Miguel Arcángel, inaugurated a two-level cocoa warehouse and a cocoa fermentation center in the district of San Miguel de El Faique, Huancabamba province, Piura region. These infrastructures will allow for the improvement of fermentation, storage, and quality control of Criollo cocoa, strengthening productivity and facilitating access to new markets.
