Piura: Strengthening the mango production chain in San Lorenzo

Within the framework of the Procompite Competitive Fund, the Regional Government of Piura delivered various goods valued at S/160,000 to the Ex Huayna Capac Association, from the Valle de los Incas sector, in San Lorenzo, with the objective of improving the production and quality of fresh mango in 63 hectares. The 27 associated producers accessed Procompite with their business plan "Improvement of the productivity and quality of fresh mango of the Ex Huayna Capac Association, Valle de los Incas sector, San Lorenzo." The association received mowers, high-reach pruners, organic fertilizers, pruning tools, computer equipment, measurement equipment, cabinets, chairs, tables, solid waste containers, and suction hoses, intended to improve working conditions and operational management.
