Planas defends trade agreements like the Mercosur to boost the future of Spanish wine

Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Minister Luis Planas defended this Monday the promotion of trade agreements between Spain and other countries, such as the Mercosur agreement at the opening of the Barcelona Wine Week (BWW). A measure to boost the future of Spanish wine and take it to third markets, he added. During the opening, Planas said he feels "optimistic" about the "disruption of international trade" and the "crisis of multilateralism" caused by the tariffs imposed by the United States and has claimed the usefulness of trade agreements with other countries to face them.
