The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, Luis Planas, highlighted this Thursday that the Agri-Food Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (Perte), which has granted 40 million euros to 19 companies, six of them from Galicia, will boost the sustainability and competitiveness of the sector after "very intense work" with the European Commission. "It will allow us to strengthen our fish and aquaculture product processing industry, particularly in sustainability and competitiveness," he emphasized in statements to journalists during a visit to Vigo, after meeting with the city's mayor, Abel Caballero.
