Ukraine has set a new record for soybean meal exports, shipping over 96 thousand tons in December, a 13% increase from November and the highest monthly shipment since May 2019. This growth is due to higher processing rates of soybeans and strong demand from the European Union, with the majority of the shipments, nearly 91%, going to the EU. The main recipients were Poland and Hungary, receiving 30% and 23% of the exports respectively. The 2024/25 season from September to December 29 has seen a 12% increase in soybean meal exports compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching approximately 278 thousand tons.
