Morocco has significantly increased its exports of frozen raspberries to Poland, becoming the third-largest supplier with a ninefold increase over three years, reaching 2.9 thousand tons by the end of 2023. This growth has come at the expense of Serbia, which saw a 42% decrease in its exports to Poland, dropping to 4.7 thousand tons. Meanwhile, Ukraine remains the top supplier despite political protests, with its exports to Poland more than doubling to 26.1 thousand tons. The European market is experiencing a shortage of frozen raspberries, leading to an expected significant price increase in the 2024/25 season. Despite low raspberry prices, Ukraine is maintaining its cultivation area.
