Poland has increased imports of frozen raspberries from Morocco 9 times in 3 years

Morocco is the fastest growing supplier of frozen raspberries to the Polish market, according to official Polish customs statistics. EastFruit analysts calculated that in just three years, supplies of frozen raspberries from Morocco to Poland increased immediately by 9 times and reached 2.9 thousand tons by the end of 2023. This allowed Morocco to gain third place among the main suppliers of raspberries to Poland, after Ukraine and Serbia. For comparison, raspberry exports from Ukraine to Poland over the same period of time increased 2.1 times and reached 26.1 thousand tons, while from Serbia to Poland fell by 42% to 4.7 thousand tons. Thus, it can be said that suppliers from Morocco were taking market share from suppliers of frozen raspberries from Serbia.
