Ukraine has become the fastest-growing exporter in the berry market, with berry fruit exports increasing by an average of 25% annually. The country's success is primarily due to its frozen raspberry exports, while blueberry production is also on the rise. However, Ukraine still lacks processing capabilities, leading to a loss of $100 million in added value as berries are sent to Poland for processing and repackaging. The country is now looking to diversify its sales channels and improve processing to further expand its berry fruit segment.
