Two more regions in Ukraine have completed the sowing campaign for winter crops for the 2026 harvest, reports "ProAgro Group."
According to the report from the department of agro-industrial development of the Regional State Administration, thanks to the fruitful work of farmers in the Poltava region, the following areas were sown:
261 thousand hectares of wheat;
7.1 thousand hectares of barley;
2.9 thousand hectares of rye;
20.5 thousand hectares of rapeseed.
Along with the Poltava region, the Ternopil region has also completed the sowing of winter crops.
"We hope for favorable weather and a bountiful harvest next year. Thank you to our agrarians – professionals in their field who are making maximum efforts for the result," said the acting head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Kohut.
