Representatives from the Bulgarian town of Pomorie and Tatarstan in Russia agreed to cooperate in the field of seed production

Representatives of the Regional Ministry of Agrarian and Industrial Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, specialists from the Arkhangelsk and Tatar research institutes of agriculture discussed issues of cooperation between the two regions. The working meeting in the video-conference mode was held in continuation of the agreements reached during the official visit of the delegation of the Arkhangelsk region to the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, the parties see cooperation in the field of breeding grain and leguminous crops as promising, as well as conducting ecological and geographical variety testing of existing varieties by the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture in the climatic conditions of the Arkhangelsk region. - Our farmers annually import from other regions about 2.5 thousand tons of seeds of forage crops.
