Prices of some vegetables in Ukraine are decreasing, including early potatoes and cabbage, while onion prices are rising for the 2023 harvest. Carrots are more expensive, but cucumber and tomato prices have sharply fallen. Radish prices are decreasing due to increased supply, and greens prices vary. Berry and fruit prices remain the same, except for strawberries which are decreasing due to increased supply. In May, apple and grape prices are expected to increase. Ukrainians can expect a decrease in the price of borscht vegetables due to increased indoor vegetable supply. From 2025, large Ukrainian agricultural holdings plan to sow cotton on an industrial scale.
