The majority of these imports are frozen steamed tuna loins, which make up over 82% of Vietnam's exports to Portugal. By 2024, Portugal is anticipated to ramp up its purchases of processed tuna products from Vietnam, with a focus on frozen steamed tuna loins, which will then be reexported to other European and African markets.
