The Community Program to Support Agricultural Productions of the Canary Islands grants aid to aloe vera and olive producers

The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food Sovereignty of the Government of the Canary Islands has published the Resolution granting surface aid to aloe vera and olive producers from the Community Program to Support Agricultural Productions of the Canary Islands (POSEI) for the campaign 2023. This support line, financed by the European Agricultural Agrarian Guarantee Fund (EAGF), has a financial figure of 83,151 euros. The beneficiaries of these funds are those producers who meet the requirements established in the call, such as being owners of a farm dedicated to the aforementioned crop, located in the Canary Islands, and maintaining a regular aloe vera or olive plantation in production during said campaign, with an area equal to or greater than 2,000 m2. In addition, the plots and/or areas subject to aid must be duly identified in the Geographic Information System (SIGPAC).
