In the context of increasingly complex climate change, unpredictable aquatic disease outbreaks, and continuously rising input costs, many shrimp farming areas in Ha Tinh are falling into a high-risk, low-efficiency situation. The urgent need to find alternative or combined farming subjects to utilize infrastructure and minimize losses is evident. From 2023 to 2025, the Ha Tinh Agricultural Promotion Center has implemented a VietGAP-standard golden feather fish farming model linked with product consumption over an area of 0.5 hectares in Thien Cam commune, Tran Phu ward, and Hai Ninh ward. Farmers are provided with support in terms of breed, industrial feed, technical training, management consultation, and guidance on recording farming logs and tracing the origin according to the VietGAP process.
