Brazilian poultry genetics exports, which include fertile eggs and day-old chicks, saw a significant increase in March compared to the previous year. Exports totaled 3,038 tons, a 93.7% increase from March 2022, with revenue reaching US$ 27.842 million, an 84.7% increase from the same period in the previous year. In the first quarter of 2023, Brazil exported 7,685 tons, a 92.5% increase from the same period in 2022, generating revenue of US$ 70.080 million, a 70.3% increase from the first quarter of 2022. Mexico was the main destination for these exports, with significant purchases also made by Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, and the European Union.
